I'm home!so regardless of my ever expanding girth or being in danger of growing horizontally challenged,i'm making desserts!I love honeydew sago,well,apart from being sweetly and universally adored by most m'sians,it's because you basically get to lick your way through it.Instead of the oh-so-unhealthy-cholesterol-boosting coconut milk,i use vanilla ice cream---melted of course.disgustingly,i lick the icecream box,ALL my spoons,the icecream scoop and anything that will not go through the mouths of others :)) And oh secret is you boil sago with screw pine leaves.okay okay,just being smug,PANDAN then.

sweet rendezvous besides,i'm an obnoxious job-hater.I said no to 3 jobbies,hating myself ffor it.but aah...the things i do for my bestie.and yay,i have my brazilianos--lime green.i likey!!and i made newyork cheesecake.i think it's passable,not great :( oh well,i'm not exactly in new york,am I?I think it''s super true when they say what you make corresponds with where you make it.a strong link,maybe i should stick with cheesecake ala malaysia.

nyanya came over for dinner.sometimes my parents are so 'hospitable' that people pay a price for having dinners at my place.I can't figure out a single person who has been over for dinner (under 35 years of age) who has not undergone the 'save money-tough life-buy insurance-2 hour lecture.*laughs,it's funny so far i haven't caught anyone rolling their eyes.but i'm 100% sure BB and nyanya have heard it more than 15 times. geez.

and nyanya's expression was priceless when ol' mums was refilling his tomyam soup.He was croaking then,but i'm pretty sure he'll need sign language tmr.I had to hide in the kitchen to laugh till i cry..poor boy. and i think me and sis will have to change his nickname,he's a bag of bones,literally.Boney maybe.I'll make him pancakes tmr,thick,fat chinese pancakes with A-Z ingredients.

Last week of hols.sigh.takes a HUMONGOUS effort to think happy thoughts.but shall not spoil the rest of my hols before I chiong my last acad sem.Of course,with purpose and ready smiles,dimples and all.
