sigh...contented sigh.I enjoy my evenings.
warm chocolate muffins, steaming cuppa,a good read.Aah...but that wasn't today.Today was an important lesson learnt.i could basically hear the desperation in his voice.Who could blame him?Kids education, rent,a sickly wife, medical bills, and a thin line between survival and hopelessness.
He sure sounded bitter, and i'm not sure how the government policies are helping so far.But i do know how essential savings are.Ah,but the harsh realities of the real world.Money not enough?that doesn't seem to be a problem for youths these days.Good stewards of money?Few christians are.rainy days may be predictable but tornadoes and gail storms may catch us unaware, and sweep us away.Be it illness, accidents or things that we'll never expect to encounter in our lifetimes, they will cause damage if it comes.
i shall not argue how the policies make our lives miserable,it is not my field of expertise, nor am i keen to argue what's best for the nation.still,i admit, spore is a prosperous nation, but the poor still exist.
