on my way home today,i was sitting beside an extremely cute angmoh who looked at me like an extra-terrestrial being.What to do?in such hopeless situations ,I stare back,with much enthusiasm.Off the bus,he wips out his Raybans*blue ones,which i think enhances his startling blue eyes.It was funny after we passed the immigration,and while waiting for the next bus,we sat and talked.Which is lame cos i don't usually talked to strangers.but he was friendly and as tourisy as possible gushing about the beauty of our land.

Well,i sailed past the next checkpoint while he had to wait,so i bid tata.Next,i met a couple of cabbies who managed to make me feel highly desirable and uncomfortable.*sheepish.frowning subconsciously,i sppose i was rather rude to a few when one was trying to show me the right direction to go.But then,you can't really trust these guys.THey are just TOO charming.

Tomorrow will be such a busy busy day!on the agenda is:Matcha green tea and red bean bread
and cantonese poot jei gou.poor oven.so,i'll be hard at work tmorrow,banging and slapping at the dough,probably to release all the tension from last sem.and great that ma won't be around,she'll be bugging me on how to do things,which gets both of us nervy.

As for today,i made gram's strawberry cheesecake.her recipe is fabulous.but i used too little jello.and the quality isn't the sort you get in the US,so it isn't quite setting.but it looks good,shall post some pictures soon.

And satay is good!ages since i had any.Really has been years.Cos it's little Helmi's birthday.Lots of food and guests and NOISE and KIDS and MUSIC.phew,what a crammy evening.The kids seem to be taking steriods,they've got soo much energy!!EVen helmi,and he's 2.btw,his cake tasted terrible,no offence,but i make way better cakes.It was just some coloured sponge with lots of icky buttery,artery clogging frosting.And distastefully done deco.

BB came over for dinner today.HE's sooo skinny!!!doesn't help that he's had food poisoning over the past few days.poor chap!But i'll make all those goodies for him this week to make sure he gets all that weight back.
